Snap is sticking with Qualcomm for its next AR glasses

Snap and Qualcomm announced a multi-year strategic agreement.

The upcoming consumer AR glasses will use Qualcomm's Snapdragon XR chip.

Snap says those glasses are planned to launch sometime this year.

The companies will work on on-device AI, graphics, and multiuser digital experiences for Specs.

Snap has developed smart glasses for about ten years, and consumer Specs are still slated for 2026.
