Anthropic develops managed 24/7 Agent for Claude mobile apps

Anthropic appears to be testing always-on managed agents in the Claude iOS app via a hidden feature flag.

The move would bring Claude mobile in line with the web experience and extend recent agent capabilities from the developer workbench to consumers.

If released, persistent, tool-using agents could make Claude more useful for agentic workflows and strengthen Anthropic’s position in mobile AI.
