OpenAI Acquires Popular Tech Media TBPN to Create Dialogue on AGI

OpenAI announced on Feb 2 that it will acquire U.S. tech media TBPN but did not disclose the price.

TBPN will continue to operate independently and keep editorial control, while maintaining its three-hour live shows.

OpenAI said the acquisition aims to create a forum for constructive dialogue about AGI and will use TBPN's marketing and communication strengths.
