PC motherboard makers expand support for China's CXMT DDR5 memory

ASUS, Gigabyte and MSI have expanded motherboard support for CXMT DDR5 memory.

The companies updated UEFI firmware and platform support on AMD and Intel boards to improve compatibility.

The move comes as major DRAM makers shift more capacity to HBM, tightening DDR5 supply.
