Rambus Pushes DDR5 To 9600 MT/s With Gen2 CKD Chipset, Setting The Stage For Intel Nova Lake & AMD Zen 6 AI PCs

Rambus introduced a complete DDR5-9600 client memory chipset for next-gen PCs, notebooks, and workstations.

The package includes a Gen2 client clock driver, PMIC5120, and SPD Hub for higher-speed, clocked modules.

It targets CUDIMM, CQDIMM, and CSODIMM designs to improve signal stability and power delivery.

The move could help future Intel Nova Lake and AMD Zen 6 systems deliver more bandwidth for AI-focused workloads.
