Meta Expands Its Creator Ecosystem With Instagram’s New Instants App

Meta has launched Instants, a new real-time photo-sharing product linked to Instagram and also available as a standalone app.

Users can send unedited photos to selected audiences, with images disappearing after viewing or within 24 hours.

The move broadens Meta’s creator ecosystem and could increase engagement inside Instagram.

It also positions Meta to compete more directly with apps like Snapchat and BeReal.
