We got an audience with the "Lunar Viceroy" to talk how NASA will build a Moon base

At the Ignition event in Washington, DC, Jared Isaacman jokingly called Carlos Garcia-Galan the "Lunar Viceroy."

Carlos Garcia-Galan is NASA's Moon base manager and program executive and has become a public face of the effort.

He previously worked on the Lunar Gateway and its architecture, which has effectively been canceled to make way for the Moon base.

NASA's Moon base initiative focuses on returning humans to the lunar surface and establishing a surface outpost rather than only orbital infrastructure.
