Google’s new Gemini AI plan could fill a glaring pricing gap

A teardown of the Gemini macOS app suggests Google is testing a new mid-tier subscription, AI Ultra Lite, between AI Pro and AI Ultra.

The rumored plan could be priced around $100 per month, filling a gap in Google’s Gemini lineup.

Google also appears to be building a usage-limits dashboard to show token usage and reset timing for subscribers.

The features would give power users a clearer way to track consumption and choose the right plan ahead of Google I/O 2026.
