Apple celebrates its 50th anniversary with special animated homepage

Apple updated its homepage with a special sketch-style animation to mark its 50th anniversary.

The animation shows iconic products including the original Mac, iMac, iPod, App Store, Watch, iPhone 17 Pro and Vision Pro.

April 1 is cited as 50 years since Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak began working together; Apple Computer Inc was incorporated the following year.

Apple held celebratory concerts at Apple Store locations worldwide, including a private Paul McCartney concert at Apple Park.
