China will assign a unique ID code to humanoid robots, just like human citizen IDs

China has launched a national Humanoid Full Lifecycle Management Service Platform for humanoid robots.

Each robot will get a structured digital ID tied to its maker, model, and serial number.

The system is designed to track robots from production to recycling and improve safety and accountability.

The initiative gives China a head start on standardizing and overseeing a fast-growing humanoid robot sector.
