Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus review - a surprise new mid-range gaming CPU king

Intel launched the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus as a $299 mid‑range CPU with 24 cores and improved clocks.

In testing it delivered Intel's best single‑ and multi‑core productivity scores and much better gaming performance than the 265K.

The chip fits existing LGA1851 motherboards after a BIOS update and supports DDR5 up to 7200MT/s.

AMD's X3D chips still lead in pure gaming performance, but the 270K Plus offers stronger multi‑core performance and value.
