FF14 Fanfest will look more into the MMO's future than you might expect, director Naoki Yoshida teases

Naoki Yoshida said the upcoming North American Fan Festival will reveal more than usual about Final Fantasy XIV’s future.

The event will cover the next expansion as well as major story and system plans for later updates.

Held in Anaheim, the show is expected to shape expectations for FF14’s long-term direction and the 8.0 expansion.

Players may get early clues about the post-7.5 roadmap and upcoming gameplay changes.
