Sharge Disk Pro 2TB review: Great sustained writes, active cooling, and a built-in hub

Sharge's Disk Pro combines a 10 Gbps SSD with a built-in USB/HDMI hub and an active cooling fan in a compact shell.

The 2TB model showed excellent sustained write performance and is useful for users with few laptop ports.

The drive has a short permanently attached cable, a Turbo fan mode, and a switch to disable the SSD while using the hub.

The hub supports up to 100W input and 85W output, but its USB-C port is cramped and some cable ends won't fit.

The 2TB model cost about $365 at test time and rose to about $385 later.
