iPhone Fold Enters Trial Production Phase Ahead of 2026 Launch

Foxconn has begun trial production of the iPhone Fold.

If testing goes smoothly, mass production is planned to start in July.

Apple aims for a 2026 launch; the Fold may miss September and could arrive after the iPhone 18 Pro, possibly as late as December.

Reported hardware: about 5.5-inch screen closed, about 7.8-inch open, a wider 4:3 aspect ratio, and an open thickness near 4.5mm.
