Apple released iOS 26.5.1 to fix a wired-charging bug on select iPhone 17 models and iPhone Air.

The issue could prevent charging when the battery was nearly empty.

Affected devices are limited to iPhone 17, 17e, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max, and iPhone Air.

Apple says the update has no published CVE entries, so it’s a stability fix rather than a security patch.
