BMW sends off the 6th-gen M3 CS with a manual gearbox, rear-wheel drive

BMW unveiled the M3 CS Handschalter as a farewell special edition for the current M3 generation.

It combines the S58 inline-six with a manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive, making it the last high-performance M3 of its kind.

BMW says the next major M3 will be fully electric, using a quad-motor setup on the Neue Klasse i3 platform.
