The Pokemon Company Changes Event Rules for Partnered Vendors To Fight Against Scalpers

The Pokémon Company has updated official Pokémon TCG event rules to restrict what partnered vendors can sell.

At events starting with the Indianapolis Regional, vendors are barred from selling graded cards, single items worth over $1,000, and most Japanese Pokémon Center products.

The move is intended to curb scalping and speculative resale at official events, potentially improving access for attendees and stabilizing on-site sales.
