Elon Musk admits that millions of Tesla vehicles won’t get unsupervised FSD

Elon Musk said on Tesla’s Q1 2026 earnings call that older Hardware 3 cars cannot support unsupervised FSD.

About 4 million vehicles may be affected, and Tesla is considering discounted trade-ins or hardware upgrades.
