MSIT announces 693 companies subject to mandatory 'information security disclosure' this year

The Ministry of Science and ICT named 693 companies subject to mandatory 2026 cybersecurity disclosures.

Firms meeting revenue, user count, or industry criteria must file by the end of next month or face fines.

The disclosure system is meant to reveal security investment and staffing, helping strengthen user protection and security standards.

The government is also considering expanding the rule to cover all listed companies.
