Intel Next-Gen Nova Lake-HX Laptop CPUs Pack Up To 28 Cores, Razer Lake-AX Named AMD Halo Competitor

Intel's Nova Lake-HX laptop CPUs include a 28-core SKU with 8 P-Cores, 16 E-Cores, and 4 LP-E cores.

A second Nova Lake-HX SKU will offer 16 cores with 4 P-Cores, 8 E-Cores, and 4 LP-E cores.

Both mobile SKUs list 2 Xe3P iGPU cores and the 28-core part represents a 16.6% core-count increase over current HX SKUs.

Razer Lake-AX is named as a competitor to AMD's Halo-class APUs, with Razer Lake-AX expected in late 2027 or early 2028.
