Snowflake CoWork gets AI upgrades for knowledge workers

Snowflake upgraded CoWork, its personal AI agent for knowledge workers, with Cortex Sense, Deep Research, User Memory, and new apps and integrations.

It also launched Cortex Training, letting customers fine-tune open-weight models on their own data without moving data or managing GPU infrastructure.

Cortex AI now supports a broader set of models, expanding options from providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, Mistral, Qwen, and DeepSeek.

The updates are aimed at making business AI more useful in day-to-day work while keeping data governed and secure.
