Nokia and KDDI Partner on Energy-Saving 6G Base Station Technology, Targeting 40% Energy Reduction

Nokia and KDDI have launched a joint trial of energy-saving 6G base station technology in Japan.

The intelligent power-management system is designed to reduce electricity use by up to 40%.

KDDI Research will conduct the testing, with results expected to inform future global 6G standards.
