FF14 Evercold will "unite the stars" in January - here's everything Yoshi-P said in his massive Fanfest keynote

Square Enix revealed Final Fantasy 14: Evercold, the next expansion for FF14, launching in January 2027.

Naoki Yoshida said it will begin a new story saga set in the Fourth reflection, following the Hydaelyn and Zodiark era.

FF14 8.0 will also bring major gameplay changes, including a shift from daily to weekly progression and other system updates.

The overhaul is meant to reshape how players engage with the MMO’s core activity loop.
