Gemini for macOS adds new "Speak to Window" feature

Google is rolling out a new macOS Gemini feature called “Speak to Window.”

It’s starting with English-language users worldwide and is triggered by a long press of the Fn key.

The feature can turn speech into polished text and use visible desktop context to extract, rewrite, summarize, and edit content.

By keeping users in the current window, it reduces app switching and makes Gemini more useful for everyday productivity.
