UK tests SkyLance drone built for low-cost strikes in GPS-jammed battlefields

Rotron Aerospace has completed a live-fire test of its SkyLance autonomous strike drone.

The test validated the platform’s propulsion and flight systems, including operation in GPS-denied and contested environments.

SkyLance is being pitched to NATO and allied buyers as a lower-cost, mass-producible alternative to cruise missiles.

The program reflects rising Western demand for attritable strike drones that can withstand electronic warfare.
