Intel is reportedly shipping Nova Lake engineering samples as development moves ahead.

Leaked details point to up to 52 cores in dual-tile desktop parts, larger cache, and new platform features.

Expected gains are about 20% higher single-core performance and 1.8x to 2.0x multi-core performance over Arrow Lake.

If accurate, Nova Lake could mark a major desktop CPU jump for Intel and raise pressure on AMD's next-gen Ryzen chips.
