Intel and Google collaborate to advance AI infrastructure

Intel and Google announced a multi-year partnership to strengthen AI and cloud infrastructure.

Google Cloud will continue using Intel Xeon processors, with Xeon 6 already deployed in C4 and N4 instances.

The companies will also co-develop a custom ASIC-based IPU to offload networking and storage from the CPU.
