FCC Proposal Blocks 9 Companies from Rebranding DJI Tech

The FCC has proposed blocking nine companies from importing and selling products it says are tied to DJI-linked Covered List entities.

The move would retroactively pull equipment authorization from already approved devices, the agency’s first use of new 2025 authority.

If adopted, the proposal could hit drones, cameras, repairs, parts, and software support in the U.S. market.

The FCC had already fined eight of the companies in July for not responding to its inquiries.
