Samsung One UI 9 will disable your fingerprint every time you open the power menu

Samsung is testing a One UI 9 Beta 2 change that automatically triggers lockdown mode when users open and then close the power menu.

The old manual lockdown button has been removed from the power menu and replaced with medical info.

Once lockdown activates, fingerprint and face unlock are disabled until the user enters a PIN, pattern, or password.

The update is meant to make Samsung’s anti-coercion protection easier to use in stressful situations, though it may still change before release.
