I wish this selfie phone case was better for selfies

The Selfix case is made for the iPhone 17 Pro and includes a built-in circular screen on the back that mirrors the middle of the main screen.

The circular screen is 1.6 inches in diameter and cuts off a large portion of the rectangular preview; its usable area is smaller than the inside of a paper towel tube.

Framing selfies requires a lot of guesswork; the touch-sensitive screen’s tap-to-focus did not work consistently in the tester’s experience.

The case is bulky but adds a microSD slot that meets UHS-I, Class 10, U3, and V30 standards.

With a fast enough card the slot can record 4K video directly to the card; the Selfix is on preorder via Kickstarter—backer price $79, retail $129.
