VS Code releases preview of new "Agent window" feature that makes development with multiple AI agents easier

Visual Studio Code has previewed a new “Agent window” in stable VS Code 1.120 for managing multiple AI agent workflows.

The window shows a left-hand list of agent sessions and lets users switch between them with a click.

It currently supports Copilot CLI, Copilot Cloud, and Claude agents.

The feature aims to make multi-agent development easier to track and manage, improving workflow efficiency.
