LG just announced a 1000Hz gaming monitor that could give you a real edge in FPS games

LG unveiled the UltraGear 25G590B, a 24.5-inch Full HD gaming monitor with a native 1000Hz refresh rate.

The IPS display is aimed at competitive FPS and esports players, with motion blur reduction and AI-based picture and sound features.

LG says the monitor is planned for release in select markets in the second half of 2026.

If delivered as promised, native 1000Hz could provide extremely smooth motion and faster visual feedback for shooters.
