Jim Bugwadia on why finding a Kubernetes problem is only half the battle for Kyverno users

Kyverno, the Kubernetes policy engine led by Jim Bugwadia and maintained by Nirmata, has graduated from the CNCF after years in incubation.

The project has topped 3 billion downloads and is seeing broader enterprise adoption as Kubernetes governance needs grow.

Kyverno recently moved from custom YAML to CEL, making policy definition more flexible and expressive.

Nirmata is pairing the open source project with enterprise offerings such as paid support, fleet management, observability, and remediation.
