Spain's parliament will act against massive IP blockages by LaLiga

Spain’s parliament is moving to review LaLiga-related court-ordered IP blocks after complaints of widespread collateral damage.

The blocks, aimed at illegal sports streams, reportedly hit large Cloudflare IP ranges and disrupted unrelated services.

Users and companies said access to tools and platforms like RustDesk and Tailscale was affected across Spain.

The case underscores how anti-piracy enforcement can unintentionally function like internet censorship and take legitimate services offline.
