Intel’s new Bartlett Lake flagship loses to a four-year-old CPU — Core 9 273PQE has 50% more P-cores but can’t surpass the Core i9-13900K in games

PC Games Hardware tested Intel’s Bartlett Lake flagship Core 9 273PQE on an ASRock W680 board.

Despite 12 P-cores and higher boost clocks, it mostly matched or trailed the Core i9-13900K in gaming.

With faster DDR5-6000 memory, the older Raptor Lake chip could pull ahead by up to 8.5%.

The results suggest Bartlett Lake is not a clear gaming upgrade over Intel’s older high-end CPUs.
