What is the Subnautica 2 roadmap for early access?

Unknown Worlds has released Subnautica 2’s first early access roadmap for its planned two-year rollout.

The first update will focus on quality-of-life improvements such as sprinting and more biomod storage.

Later updates will add base-building and co-op features like voice chat and revives, followed by bigger content drops.

Planned expansions include new biomes, creatures, tools, a vehicle, resources, and a new story chapter.

The studio will also continue minor bug-fix and optimization patches, but no release dates were shared.
