WEMIX Dollar’s owner/admin control was hijacked, allowing about 5.23 million tokens to be minted without authorization.

The attacker swapped some of the illicit tokens into WEMIX and USDC.e and moved assets out of the ecosystem.

Wemade/WEMIX suspended bridge-related functions, began investigating the cause, and sought asset freezes.

The incident highlights how compromised admin rights can trigger unauthorized minting, depegging, and liquidity outflows.
