Smallest.ai raises $13M to build ultra-fast voice AI that sounds genuinely human

Smallest.ai raised a $13 million Series A led by Seligman Ventures.

Sierra Ventures and 3one4 Capital also participated, bringing total funding to more than $21 million.

The startup is building a small, specialized voice AI model optimized for real-time conversation.

It will fall back to a larger language model for more complex queries, aiming for lower latency and more natural delivery.

If it works, the approach could influence how enterprise voice agents and customer support systems are built.
