Samsung widely rolling out stable One UI 8.5 update, five months after the beta started

Samsung has started a broad global rollout of the stable One UI 8.5 update.

The update ends a beta program that lasted more than five months.

It is reaching Galaxy S25 and S24 phones, Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and several Galaxy tablets.

The delayed release stands out, since Samsung has generally been shipping updates faster in recent years.
