Amazon is already offering new OpenAI products on AWS

Amazon said AWS Bedrock now supports OpenAI’s latest models and Codex after Microsoft’s exclusivity terms were revised.

AWS also introduced a new managed agent service designed to work with OpenAI reasoning models.

The move broadens OpenAI’s cloud distribution beyond Microsoft and could reshape competition among cloud and AI platforms.

It puts Amazon more directly in the race with Microsoft, Anthropic, Oracle, and other AI infrastructure providers.
