Flipboard Launches General Availability of Multi-SNS Aggregated Reader "Surf"

Flipboard announced Surf is publicly available after a beta that ran from December 2024.

Surf is a platform-agnostic social website that lets site operators control their own web spaces.

Surf can display Bluesky content (AT Protocol), including profiles and posts.

Surf supports ActivityPub networks like Mastodon and Threads, showing their profiles and posts.

To use Surf, sign up at surf.social, add sources via +Create Feed, pick a display mode (posts, watch, listen, look), and each user can assign up to five custom domains to publish their feed as an independent site.
