AMD Warns PC and Gaming Demand Will Decline in H2 as Memory Price Surge Squeezes Consumers Out of Market

AMD said Q1 2026 revenue rose in Client and Gaming, but it sees softer PC and gaming demand in the second half.

Rising memory and component costs, driven in part by AI demand, are expected to push consumer prices higher.

The company warned that higher prices could reduce PC shipments and weigh on gaming hardware revenue.

That outlook may also increase pricing pressure across devices and consoles such as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
