Weappy Studio’s indie 2D platformer The Eternal Life of Goldman is drawing attention for its hand-drawn frame-by-frame animation and fairy-tale visuals.

Its exploration-focused design and unusually high production values have led to comparisons with Cuphead and Hollow Knight.

The free Steam demo has received strong early feedback, and an Amazon listing may have leaked a December 31, 2026 release date.

The game is expected to launch on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
