Sacks Pushes Trump To Slow New AI Rules To Protect U.S. Innovation

David Sacks reportedly urged Trump to delay an executive order that would have set up a voluntary federal review process for frontier AI models.

He argued that even limited AI oversight could slow U.S. innovation and hurt America’s competitiveness in the AI race with China.

Sacks also said AI coding tools are boosting demand for software engineers rather than replacing them.
