The wait is over: Google just released Snapseed 4.0 for Android with a new pro camera

Google has released Snapseed 4.0 for Android after a long pause, giving the free photo editor a major upgrade.

The update adds a Snapseed Camera with real-time adjustable effects, along with new film-style filters, batch editing, masking, and RAW support.

Users can now undo edits all the way back to the original image, making Snapseed’s workflow more non-destructive.

The refresh closes a long gap for Android users and makes Snapseed more competitive with paid photo apps.
