Anthropic releases Opus 4.8 with new ‘dynamic workflow’ tool

Anthropic launched Opus 4.8, its new top-tier public model, at the same price as Opus 4.7 and just 41 days later.

The update focuses on better handling of uncertain or bad inputs, aiming for more reliable analysis and coding results.

Anthropic also introduced Dynamic Workflows, a research-preview feature that coordinates many parallel subagents on complex tasks in Claude Code.

The company said its delayed Mythos model could reach customers in the coming weeks once remaining safety checks are complete.
