Google Won't Rest Until Gemini Is Everywhere In Your Home

Google is expanding Gemini for Home into a full smart home AI platform, not just a software feature.

It is giving hardware partners validated reference designs for devices like cameras and speakers to speed up launches.

Google is also tying Gemini features to Google Home Premium, including Home Brief and simulated-presence automations.

The move deepens Gemini’s role across the Home app and helps Google grow its AI subscription ecosystem as Nest Aware is phased out.
