Analysts say Xbox Game Pass price drop is ‘unsurprising’ after COD failed to significantly increase subscriptions

Microsoft lowered the monthly prices of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

It also said future Call of Duty games will not launch on the service on day one.

Analysts said the move was unsurprising because Call of Duty did not deliver the expected subscription gains.

They expect the cheaper pricing to help drive subscriber growth for Game Pass.
