Leidos won a framework deal to supply the first 3,000 Low-Cost Containerized Munitions to the U.S. military.

The company is self-funding development and plans to expand production in Alabama and Tennessee.

The LCCM uses Small Cruise Missile technology and is designed for faster fielding, with future maritime and air-launch options.

The agreement is part of a wider Pentagon push to buy more affordable strike weapons and grow the defense industrial base.
