X and the music industry end 3-year copyright battle… $250 million lawsuit settles

X and the National Music Publishers’ Association have jointly moved to dismiss a three-year copyright dispute, ending the lawsuits between them.

The settlement does not include any damages payment or disclosed music licensing terms.

The deal closes a major fight between the platform and music rightsholders, but may set a precedent for future licensing and compensation talks.
